Today's series of three posts follow a story line.
So please follow along.
Whitney and Matt were married a few years ago
and this was their wedding quilt.

Double Irish Chain wedding quilt.

Michael and Ashley were married this summer
and received this wedding quilt.
Michael is the brother of Whitney,
who was married a few years back.
Michael and Ashley's Full sized Double Irish Chain
has the same yellow floral fabric as in Whitney's wedding quilt as the center chain
and the pink inner border fabric was also in Whitney's quilt.

Barb is the mother of both Whitney and Michael.
I had just enough fabric left over from the wedding quilts for Whitney and Michael to put together a throw size quilt for her with fabrics from both of her children's wedding quilts.

Note that the pink and floral yellow were in both Whitney and Michael's wedding quilts.
The lighter green and green border were in Michael's wedding quilt.
Hence, the mother has a quilt which incorporates
fabrics from her children's quilts.

This shows the back with stitching.
